The Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry has served IBEW Local Union No. 3 and its employers since 1943, in the city of Bellmore, NY. The Empire BlueCross BlueShield Fee-For-Service Program entitles you to visit the dentist of your choice. You will have to pay only those expenses that go over the maximum allowance.

The second option is the Empire Dental Managed Network Program. With this plan you are required to pay some of the expenses yourself. You are also required to remain with your dentist for a set amount of time (one year).

The third and final option is the DDS Inc. Program. Again, you will not have to pay your own way if you use a network dentist. It is important to note, however, that certain limits apply. One advantage of this plan is that you are able to switch between network dentists.

As a participant in any one of these plans, you will be able to cover your spouse and children. The programs include a wide range of services, including preventative, surgical, and other types of care. You will not need  pre-screening for the the Empire Dental Managed Program, nor for the DDS program. With the Empire Fee-For-Service Program, screening is required for some procedures before you or your family member can begin treatment. However, this is not needed for basic services.
